History of the Church

Here in this area and province of Narasaraopet, the Truth of Gospel was proclaimed by late. Bro. Claude A. Guild, a Missionary from USA in the decade of 1970. At that time, late. Bro. Albert Prakasa Rao and his wife Sis. Premaltha Lydia who were working as Government Teachers accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus and baptized into Him. Later they started to preach Christ in this area and they were supported by Bro. Guild and he introduced them to Lord's Church at Pateros, Washington. The Church helped them under the Eldership of late. Bro. Jack F. Nickell, Bro. Jessie E. Faris and Bro. Leslie R. Miller. Later Bro. Jack F. Nickell had taken special care and helped their ministry in a big way. He helped the congregations with food in hard times like famine and floods. Many preachers were supported. Significantly he constructed a Great and Huge Church building in 2002 at Narasaraopet making as a center in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Guntur District. Since then the building has been using for Worships, Gospel meetings, Marriage and Fellowship gatherings and also as a Rescue center for the destitute in times of heavy rains and floods. Now Bro. Jayakar Benjamin, the Elder son of Bro. Albert and Sis. Premalatha Lydia has been serving as Evangelist in this Church and taking forward the ministry to be helpful for many souls in this area. His son Bro. Claude Benjamin has been assisting him in a great way. As Narasaraopet Church of Christ Intl. Institutions & Ministries, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Christ and His Peace is our goal. We believe that the Gospel is the solution for all infirmities for the man kind and it is a need for human soul for getting peace. Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies in the Scripture and to take it for every corner in the world. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our programs to reach everyone irrespective of their caste and creed including poor, destitute, neglected, downtrodden to bring divine light of Lord Jesus Christ in their lives.

USA Missionary

Bro. Claude A. Guild was a Great Missionary from USA and served as President of Fort Worth Christian College and Vice President of Columbia Christian College. His foreign missions efforts have taken him to many places on the globe including Australia, Singapore, Africa, Europe, Canada and India. He visited many times India and established many congregations in the State of Andhra Pradesh. He has been a Preacher of the Gospel for over 50 years and authored books 'Training Men to Preach', Soul Saving Sermons (parts 1 & 2)' and ' A Man and His Mission' etc., He laid foundation for the Church building of Narasaraopet Church of Christ Intl. Later late Bro. Jack F. Nickell constructed it in the year 2002. It is the promise of God that His work shall be continued. Accordingly the work and ministry of Narasaraopet Church has been continuing by the Grace of God to reach its goal in a variety of ways.

Late Bro. Jack F. Nickell A Great Philanthropist & Elder of Pateros Church of Christ, Washington. First of all, A Great Salute to late. Bro. Jack F. Nickell. He was a saint of God and worked as Elder of Pateros Church of Christ in Washington. He uplifted the Ministry of Narasaraopet Church of Christ Intl. in a huge manner and encouraged it to construct Church buildings at Narasaraopet and Ellamanda and a nearby congregation at Kakani. He was a great philanthropist and helped congregations in the hard times like famine and floods. He visited India in the year 1999 and encouraged the work in various ways. He inspired many preachers to work for the Lord. God blessed him with long life and he was slept in the Lord at the age of 89 years. He lives always in the hearts of believers in this area. May God shall continue to be with his bereaved family members. His helping nature for the preachers and dedication for serving in the Kingdom of God is an ideal for people. Narasaraopet Church of Christ Intl. is always grateful to him for his God's love and valuable charity extended to it.

Late. Bro. B. Albert Prakasa Rao, Evangelist, India

The Servants of God Bro. B. Albert Prakasa Rao and Sis. Premalatha who were working as Government Teachers were influenced by the teachings of Bro. Claude A. Guild and accepted Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior in the decade of 1970 and dedicated their lives for the proclamation of Gospel. Bro. Claude A. Guild introduced them to Pateros Church of Christ in Washington and they supported their ministry. Late Bro. Jack F. Nickell who was the Elder of Pateros Church encouraged them well. They lived for the cause of Christ and went to heaven to receive their Crown in Heaven. Their Elder Son Bro. Jayakar Benjamin and his Son Bro. Claude Benjamin has been continuing the ministry.
